Dr. Roberto H. Tarazona Ponte

Dr. Tarazona, or “Tito” as he is affectionately known, is completely committed to serving others. He studied medicine, graduated as a physician and surgeon, and completed graduate studies in Public Health and Bioethics at one of Perú’s premiere health professions training schools. He has specialty training in Social Management and the Humanization of Health Services Management. As our Senior Health Advisor, Dr. Roberto currently oversees all health-related issues in our programs, specifically concerning high-risk children. He is President of the HBI’s Perú Board, and is also a permanent Deacon of the Catholic Church and member of the Pontifical Council at the Vatican.
