Why We Exist

HBI exists to build bridges in order to provide for the most critical needs of people living in impoverished and underserved areas.

We do this by:

  • Creating community alliances
  • Building relationships with other Non-Governmental Organizations and local partners
  • Supporting professional development of in-country healthcare and social service providers
  • Meeting the basic needs of communities and individuals living in poverty
