Dr. Robert Gehringer

​Dr. Gehringer, or Dr. Bob (as he is affectionately called), comes to HBI with over 50 years of direct clinical experience as a pediatrician and physician administrator. He recently retired from clinical practice in Wisconsin. With his MD from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine, his work in developing areas spans many countries and multiple decades. Dr. Gehringer serves as a bridge between healthcare programs and projects in Perú and U.S.-based partners and collaborators. HBI is very fortunate to have his skills, talents, and dedication to the communities of Perú. Dr. Bob splits his time as a pediatrician in Menasha, WI, helping to coordinate and run HBI projects, and facilitating NRTP training to healthcare providers internationally.
